The Camp Getaway Beanie

So I had originally planned to have this beanie released about a week and a half ago. And that unfortunately did not happen. Smack dab in the middle of my timeline to release the patterns I have ready to go, i had three orders. One finished item, shipped delivered and loved. And two custom orders for one of my girls that i used to waitress with. I also like to keep atleast one beanie in stock in my etsy shop for every pattern i have designed. So i was busy making two Camp Getaway beanies, An adult one, and a child (big kid 6-10) which are available now! There is also an option for a mommy and me set that already as the discount applied, AND shipping is still included.

Back to the pattern, I was able to crank this paticular pattern out for adult (women’s) and the big kid version i mentioned above. So each one has a separate completely written pattern. Each pattern will be available in it’s own ad free version, and i have decided to bundle them together and it gives all you awesome crafters a discount. If you are familiar with the alpine stitch, this beanie will be super easy for you to start and get finished. I made a chunky beanie that also uses this stitch, which i loved and that one was super quick to work up too. I actually designed that pattern AFTER this pattern but released that one first because, well it was super easy and quick. And! You guys, it looked so good after i was finished and added the pom and my tag. I told my husband i planned on making myself one before the end of winter because it’s so cute.

I have a couple different pictures that will be added along the way and I can’t remember all the yarns used, BUT i did stick with worsted weight only for the hats shown in the post. Which can range anywhere from red heart, to loops and threads impeccable. But really any worsted weight will do.

Before we completely dive in, I have to add that i’ve used bates hooks to make this beanie. I don’t think theres too much of a difference size wise except that one hat might fit a little more snug or more loose. I learned this when making the last beanie. I used two different brand hooks, and one beanie was more snug than the other.

Anddddd, on to the pattern.
