Waffle Hot Pad

Today I have something fun for you! I was originally planning to release this pattern in a few weeks, but I thought now would be a great time to put it up on the blog.

If you saw my chocolate chunk hot pad pattern recently and you read the post that went along with it, you know that I was also working on a “cousin” hot pad to go with it. I recently started to really crack down on myself with my diet and exercise routines so I’ve been looking for ways to indulge in food without actually consuming it, (insert nervous laugh here) and that’s how I decided to start crocheting food related hot pads.

So this weeks pattern will be a glorious looking waffle. It makes me SO hungry for not only waffles, but ALL KINDS of breakfast foods.

I do provide the colors I used, although you can use any color you prefer. I just tried to pick colors that I thought looked most like the food I am imitating.

I also can’t wait to keep coming up with my food inspired hot pads. I have a few in mind and once I get the materials, I will definitely be making them.

If you are not a crocheter, you will be able to pick these hot pads up in my etsy shop. And coming soon, will be an inexpensive AD-FREE pdf that you will be able to find in my etsy shop as well for both the waffle hot pad and the chocolate chunk hot pad.

Now, onto this adorable pattern.
