This beanie is so easy. Oh my gosh, so easy. I started making these about three years ago, and that year I made three I believe, in all different colors. And guess what, I SOLD ALL OF THEM. I have no idea why I didn’t write a pattern sooner.
Not only are these super easy, and repetitive, so they fly off your hook pretty fast, they are also super addicting. I actually have been making a ton of them and binge watching various shows on Netflix because you repeat the same two rows for the body until its time to measure and decrease. Sounds easy right?
Guess what, it is. And I love these beanies because I created the pattern below with those gorgeous mandala cakes. A while ago, I bought a ton of them, and I don’t make clothing, so I actually had no idea what to make them and I only had one of each colorway.
I want to add, if you want to use other yarn you can follow the brim/band directions for thicker yarn (weight 4) from my deer creek beanie pattern, and then just follow the body directions.
Let’s get started! ALSO, if you make these and you post to Instagram please tag me, OR use #lemonbarkbeanie
If you want to purcahse an ad free pattern, you can find it on ravelry and on etsy

PATTERN NOTES
While working on the brim, you will chain 1 at the end of each row, and turn. Then you will slip stitch the two short ends together and turn the brim right side out so that the seam is on the inside.
You will want to work the band pretty loose and make sure your CHs are not real tight.
While working on the body, you will always join to the first st of that round, Then Ch 1 and start the next round.
To achieve the length, you will be measuring the beanie from the bottom of the brim until the hat reaches the desired height for each size. You will then work four decreasing rounds and cinch the top of the beanie shut.
This pattern is written specifically for a weight 3, or a very thin weight 4.
However many stitches are in your band, you will have that many stitches in your body stitch count. But Make sure to go up 1 hook size.
